Wax is repeatedly applied and heat-pressed into the leather, creating a rich depth, subtle luster, and unique surface character.
Due to this process, tension during sewing causes the wax to crystallize on the surface, resulting in distinctive white markings and a powder-like bloom. These variations are intentionally embraced as part of the material's individual character, giving each piece a unique appearance.
